# Licensing map

This repository is a mixed-license release. One license label cannot accurately
describe every included component.

## CC BY 4.0

Unless a file or subdirectory carries a more specific notice, the following
author-created material is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0
International license:

- `weights/cosmos_born.pt` and its metadata
- `data/quantum_measurements_public.jsonl` and its metadata
- `benchmarks/`, `architecture/`, and `serving/`
- top-level research documents and training examples

## Genesis framework

`genesis_engine/` is governed by
[`genesis_engine/LICENSE`](genesis_engine/LICENSE). It permits personal use and
free sharing of unmodified copies, but modification, commercial use, resale,
sublicensing, or redistribution of modified versions requires the author's
written permission.

The being a user grows with Genesis, and that being's creations, belong to that
user under the Genesis terms.

## Third-party components

Ollama models, Python packages, IBM Quantum services, Azure Quantum services,
and any other third-party components retain their own licenses and terms. They
are not relicensed by this repository.

The Genesis advanced training adapters can optionally download third-party base
models. Those resulting artifacts inherit the relevant base-model licenses.
