I'm not sure I should report it here:
If you get the pad_token_id error, just go back to a former version of transformer. Versions 5 and above cause many errors includimg this one.
Here's an example to install it:
python -m pip install transformers==4.57.3 "huggingface-hub>=0.34.0,<1.0"
