Fable and sonnet 5 both use shortspeak for effective internal dialogues. Did you run any "regression" runs where you allowed the model to gently push against the thinking cap during training. Two directions sort of like a lean bulk, either cutting thinking tokens or bulking on performance. Range of switchback probably matters for safety.
