First time used... Failed basic tool calls immediately. (Q2 variant)
And not even once, 3 times did it fail to write out the tool command, going into a repetitive loop spamming // // // // // // // // instead of the actual commands it should have. I gave it a few new tries, but ultimately failed. I re-launched my IQ3_XXS Variant, asked it to try, and it's been chugging along with 0 errors since :\ I really want to love this model, but right now, it needs a bit of work I feel like!

IQ3_XXS works miracles on this variant, it only looped once in weeks of use, I can also vouch for their IQ2_S, which also worked rather decently. The price you pay is +- 2GB in size while retaining most of it's good use cases.
The IQ3 returns me approx 30 tokens/s where yours does 40/s. A small drop.
It's weird, because I also tried the Q2 variant but it does real projects for me... I didn't use it for long though because it isn't on the same quality level of my daily driver IQ2_S (GSQ RCO), takes ~30% more reasoning/turns to get things right compared to the IQ2_S.
