Movies (MP4, H.264, 30 fps)

Each movie shows the complete simulation run of one design: the deformed structure coloured by member utilisation ε_max/ε_c (failed members dashed grey, deformation ×1) next to the force–displacement curve with a moving marker. Frames are reconstructed exactly from the stored topology-state history (u = d·u₁(state), one state per failure cascade), rendered with analysis/render_movie.py and encoded with ffmpeg. The in-app "Record movie of the run" button produces the same kind of movie from the browser (MP4 where the browser supports MediaRecorder/H.264, otherwise WebM).

file design what to look for
S4_F10_flat_ord_movie_s1.mp4 flat ordered 16×16 grid (P01) all vertical members reach ε_c together; one avalanche separates the specimen (abruptness 1.0)
S3_E9_ref_ord_movie_s1.mp4 ordered nested hierarchy (P02) first failure at an interface, then a runaway crack (abruptness 0.99)
S3_E9_ref_dis_movie_s1.mp4 disordered hierarchical reference (P06) fine members and interfaces fail around the coarse junctions; progressive, distributed damage
S4_F10_L3_movie_s1.mp4 level-selective design (P03) distributed fine-level damage while the ordered coarse cross carries the load, then an intermediate drop
S4_F10_ord_red1_movie_s1.mp4 ordered fully braced lattice (P05) braced grid: intermediate failure with a localised band
S3_E4_L1_dis0.35_rt0.6_s1..s3.mp4 levels ≥ 1 disordered, r_t = 0.6 (three seeds) route (ii): the straight level-0 cross carries most of the load and fails as one unit after fine-level damage
